Isosceles CEO Mike O’Connell raises over £1,000 for Young Minds

In a series of challenges completed during England’s COVID lockdown, Isosceles CEO Mike O’Connell raised over £1,000 in aid of Young Minds.

From a virtual rendition of George Michael’s 1987 hit, Faith, and physical exercise challenges to making balloon animals in under three minutes and creating complex origami models, the Teams-streamed challenges generated wide interest across the company.

Young Minds is the UK’s leading charity fighting for children and young people’s mental health. Mike chose this charity because with the global pandemic entering its second year, he believed it was a particularly important organisation during this difficult and uncertain time.

Mike said: “Young Minds is an essential charity which supports children and young people.”

“It was important for Isosceles to engage with the organisation’s vital work and reflect on how the global pandemic has created countless challenges for young people.”

He added: “At Isosceles, we hope these funds will go some way to support the UK-wide charity and the children and young people it supports”.
