In this blog, we describe what the CIMA qualification is and explain how you can start your journey to become a CIMA qualified accountant.

What does a management accountant do?

The CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) qualification combines financial accounting, management accounting, leadership, and people skills but it also incorporates elements of digitalization and technological skills throughout the course to give graduate accountants a holistic view of a business.

In addition to regular accounting responsibilities, the trainee graduate accountant will gather information on revenue, cash flow, outstanding debts, and notice patterns, foresee risks, spot opportunities, and inform and assist decisions across the business.
